2013, Human PathologyCitation Excerpt :CEA is almost invariably expressed in all cases of colorectal adenocarcinoma. It is also expressed in a large percentage of adenocarcinomas of the lung, stomach, pancreas, biliary tract, salivary gland, esophagus, uterine cervix, and ovary (mucinous type) [27,31,39,83,104,113,177,221,260]. Among the neuroendocrine tumors, CEA is commonly present in medullary carcinomas of the thyroid [272].
