Zusammenfassung
Im Jahr 1988 wurde an acht Universitäten der Bundesrepublik Deutschland eine Einstellungsbefragung mit einem strukturierten Fragebogen bei insgesamt 1769 Medizinstudenten zum Thema Rauchen durchgeführt. Die Auswertung der Ergebnisse zeigt nicht nur einen hohen Raucheranteil von 40,4%, sondern auch verschiedene Einstellungsinkonsistenzen. Als Konsequenz wird eine Intensivierung und Verbesserung der Ausbildung von Medizinstudenten gefordert, damit diese später ihrer Vorbildfunktion gerecht werden können.
Résumé
En 1988, huit Universités de la République Fédérale d'Allemagne ont conduit un sondage auprès de 1769 étudiants en médecine sur le thème de la fumée, au moyen d'un questionnaire structuré. Les résultats démontrent non seulement une importante proportion de fumeurs (40,4%) parmi les étudiants en médecine, mais aussi une certaine inconsistance d'opinions. En conclusion, il est important d'améliorer la formation des étudiants en médecine quant à ce problème, compte tenu du rôle d'exemple qu'ils auront à tenir plus tard.
Summary
In 1988 we did a cross sectional study with 1769 medical students at eight medical schools in the FRG. The objective was to understand the smoking related attitudes of future physicians. The results showed with 40.4% a relatively high proportion of smokers. In the contrary to the demand for effective advice and modell giving by physicians we found a lot of unconsonancy attitudes. As a consequence we claim to intensify the medical education in this field.
