AB A case is presented of a 43 year old woman with massive haemotypsis secondary to non-thrombotic pulmonary embolism complicating atrial septal defect repair with a prosthetic patch. Non-thrombotic embolus must be considered in the differential diagnosis of massive haemoptysis.
