AB Spontaneous rupture of the oesophagus is a well-known entity. Partial or intramural rupture of the oesophagus has been described but is not so well known, and the purpose of this paper is to draw attention to this condition. The clinical presentation, radiological appearances, and treatment of two such cases are described.
