Bochdalek hernia as unusual cause of massive hydrothorax in a 50-year-old man

A 50-year-old man was urgently admitted to our department with acute dyspnoea and upper abdominal pain for 4 h. He had no history of any previous thoracoabdominal trauma or surgery. On physical examination, auscultation revealed diminished breath sound with dullness to percussion over the left hemithorax.
