To the Editor
We, of course, agree that any label of “primary” pulmonary hypertension represents an exclusion of known disease associations and betrays ignorance of underlying pathophysiology. We also agree that all imaging studies, while suggestive, are entirely nonspecific.
The major thrust of the letter, as we understand it, is that our case might represent a unique case of “secondary” pulmonary hypertension associated with malignancy, previously characterized as “pulmonary tumor thrombotic
