Drug-induced lupus erythematosus
2014, Actas Dermo-SifiliograficasCitation Excerpt :The course of pericarditis is usually benign in patients with this form of the disorder, although constrictive pericarditis, cardiac tamponade, and pericardial effusion have been reported.21–23 Pleuritis, pleural effusion, and pulmonary infiltrates are not uncommon when the culprit drug is procainamide.24 Renal or neurologic involvement, on the other hand, is uncommon, distinguishing systemic DILE from idiopathic SLE.
