Salbutamol in the treatment of whooping cough

Abstract

A double blind placebo-controlled study was performed to evaluate the efficacy of salbutamol in the treatment of 25 pertussis patients. The diminishing of paroxysmal cough in the treatment group did not differ significantly from that of the control group.
