NLRP3, ASC redistribution by nystatin treatment. Lung epithelial cells were stimulated with respiratory syncytial virus and then either left untreated (A) or cultured with 25 μM nystatin (B) or 10 μM brefeldin A (C). Golgi was stained with GM130 mAb followed by Alexa 488-Fab mouse-specific Ig. Cells were stained for NLRP3 using a rabbit anti-NLRP3 Fab conjugated to Alexa 546, and a goat anti-ASC Fab conjugated to Alexa 647. Cells were imaged using a Zeiss 510 confocal microscope.
