    The impact factor for Thorax is rising

    Impact factors for journals for the year 2003 have recently been published and we are delighted that the impact factor for Thorax has risen to 4.188. It is now the second highest ranked conventional respiratory journal in terms of impact factor, behind the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine, and has overtaken the American Journal of Respiratory Cell and Molecular Biology.
